I knew about the world early on because my father subscribed to National Geographic. Additionally my Dad worked for TWA ( Trans World Airlines for Gen Z) which meant we flew for free. We lived in a city housing project, did not own a car and both my parents worked to support us. But I had been to Europe way before any of my friends.
