The Oscars
This year, a silent black and white film, The Artist,  is gaining momentum as Best in Show. The star of The Artist is as much Uggie as it is its male human lead, Dejardin.  Uggie retired after this role.  He has already won the 2012 Golden Collar Award- the Dog Oscar. He competed against himself in another movie in which he was nominated Water for Elephants.
Liam gives a bark out for Uggie to win best actor.  Liam feels a canineship with Uggie who is also a rescue dog.
